American Red Cross National Disaster Benefit

“Although the hurricanes, floods and earthquakes are not filling the media like they did, there are still lots of people who are desperately in need of help.  That’s why the BBQ Garden and Café is partnering with the American Red Cross for this fund raiser dinner.” Said Mary Beal, Manager of the BBQ Garden & Café in Cosby.

The fund raiser will be held at the BBQ Garden & Café on Sunday, November 6th from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.  The event will include dinner and live musical entertainment provided by some of the areas best performers.  These performers include (in order of appearance) Sweethearts Of The Bitterroot Valley, Lost Mill String Band, FMS Praise, DeJa Blue, Logan’s Hero’s, and Stray Dog & The Alley Cats.

Your dinner choices are: with a $10.00 donation: your choice of Spaghetti Dish  or BBQ Sandwich on a tomato-basil Kaiser roll with fries, tea or soda and dessert.  With a $20.00 donation you get their fresh-grilled BBQ Ribs with your choice of side dish, tea or soda and dessert.  Both dinner options come with a large helping of free entertainment in a variety of styles: bluegrass, old-time country, contemporary Christian, and golden oldies among them. “I really want to thank these musicians,” said Mary Beal, “They’re all donating their time and talent to help raise money for the American Red Cross National Disaster Relief Fund.”

The BBQ garden and Café is located at 3321 Hwy 321 in Cosby (across from the Cosby School), 8 miles south of I-40 exit 435.

Tickets are available at The BBQ Garden & Café and at the American Red Cross office in Newport.  For more information, call the BBQ Garden Café at (423) 487-3220
